Fast and Clean!

The cooking speed is so much faster than our previous gas cooktop that I've had to completely rework my morning breakfast making routine. Previously the first thing I'd do is to start water boiling to make my oatmeal but now that's the last thing I do after all the other prep tasks. I'm also really appreciating the touch controls since it was crumbs getting into the controls of my gas cooktop that broke it and prompted the need for a new cooktop.

Monogram Top of the Line Cooktop

I must be truthful. I was so excited to get my cooktop and purchased top of the line induction cookware. However, after a few months I noticed it would just shut down while I was cooking. So, I had to go underneath the cabinet and do a hard reset (unplug it- wait a few minutes - then plug it back in). I did that a few times, then I initiated a service appointment. I found out via the technician that it was an issue, so they replaced it with a new one. The new one did great, however, I have started to notice it shutting down in the middle of cooking my meals. So I have a tech coming out to see what is going on with my new one. I recommend to really read about how to take good care of your cooktop. I see this product to cook more healthy food options, therefore, if you want to fry food, I would you suggest to purchase a deep fryer. For the price I paid, I am disappointed because I hate it when it shuts down while I am cooking!

I love this new induction technology and the security it adds to those of us who have children at home. At first I didn't understand how it worked and then I read the manual and saw that there is a minimum size for each burner, and after that everything works perfectly, recommended!

Misleading information.

We were very disappointed in the manufacturer reply to our problem and the retailer. The information on induction was misleading by both. I was told if a magnet would stick to a pot or pan it would work. WRONG, GE said go buy an $850 set and they guaranteed it would work. I purchased a $300 set of induction ready from Costco and many would not work.

Installed the monogram conduction cooktop a few days ago. So far so good, but obv far too early to tell. There™€™s a def learning curve vs gas. Pots & pans heat super fast. Had to get all new induction compatible cookware. I LOVE to cook so getting new cookware is always fun! :-) However, trying to find workhorse cookware that could stand up to daily use several times a day, didn™€™t cost a fortune & got consistent reviews was challenging. That was very surprising to me.

Purchased this model brand new in April. It was installed in May. I have had 5 repair jobs, at this point the only thing not replaced is the actual glass top. It doesn™€™t work, it still shuts off midway while cooking. They could care less about food I have thrown away because the stove turns off, or the fact that sometimes they™€™re Isa 3-6 week wait for parts to ™€œfix™€ the stove. I always loved Monogram (have purchased 8 in my lifetime) NEVER AGAIN

Love the Monogram cooktop

It is great - love the cooktop. It's quiet, easy to clean and easy to adjust for heat settings. Constructive input for the next generation of Monogram cooktop: space the burners a bit further apart. With 3 burners bunched up together, one can't use a flared side fry pan (let alone a wok) and center pots on the other two burners. Most all fry pans are flared side. And make the larger burner a bit smaller....Families of 1-2 people don't use 10"-12" cookware and nothing smaller will activate this burner. Other than these things, I love the cooktop.

Child lock doesn't turn off

I bought Monogram 30' induction stove model ZHU30RDT1BB for two months. Now the "Child Lock" didn't turn off. I turned off the breaker for more than 24 hours. But it didn't reset at all. That's bad design.
