Overall a nice refrigerator. The very bottom shelf on the door is a little difficult to get to, since the one above it hangs way over. The freezer is quite large, and can old a lot of frozen foods.

Was replacing a GE frig I loved . This was my only option for my space without going even smaller. Hate having a bottom freeze. Only 1 dial to control everything with out any kind of readout. Bought a thermometer and realized the temperature in freezer stays around 10 degrees . Not cold enough! Am in process of reaching out to repairman .

This is a great refrigerator with no frills which we like. It not only looks good on the outside, it provides loads of storage inside and keeps everything cold. We especially like the little hidden shelf on the bottom of the inside door. It looks small but holds a lot more than you would think. Only reason for four stars is we are disappointed there is no light in the freezer compartment. It surely would help when looking for something in a packed freezer!

I received my brand new GE Refrigerator today. I love the black matte color. The refrigerator is bigger than my last one. I love how wide it is and how roomy it is to store things. The is our 2nd refrigerator that we have in the garage but very important as we have a large family and 1 refrigerator is just not enough. The delivery guys were great and helped moved things around to place it in the garage. They even tested it out and made sure the refrigerator was level. I am now happy as I can finally go grocery shopping for everything I need.!

I love the fingerprint resistant version of this fridge. This fridge is very good and it works well. I like that I can move the shelves around and the freezer has a lot of space. The fridge has more than enough space for a family of 4 people. I am very happy with it.

Too Big of a Freezer

Very disappointed in the space in the refrigerator. I like the space on the door, but I don't like the shelf spacing inside. Very limited and hard to put any dishes of height and even harder to stack items. My previous GE refrigerator was a smaller cubic size, and the meat drawer was bigger and a lot more room in the refrigerator. Too much room in the freezer. It took away too much from the refrigerator and makes it hard to put gallon containers on the top shelf. I was limited on height in my kitchen, so I couldn't go with a taller refrigerator, so I needed to stay with the standard size. Even though the complete size is bigger than my older one, it is less room due to the size of the freezer. If you need more freezer space, this one is for you. I was unable to find any refrigerator without the freezer being bigger.

Excellent Garage refrigerator. The settings for the fridge and freezer are from 1 to 5, 5 being the coldest. The freezer is set at 1 and the fridge set at 4. Since its summer I placed thermometers in both fridge and freezer to confirm temperatures since there is no digital readouts.. At 1, the freezer temperature is at -4 degrees. The fridge setting is 4 with a temperature reading of 32 degrees. Both are exactly where I want them. This is a great fridge and it has plenty of space.

We bought this fridge for our garage, and I think it will work fine, but considering it™™s called garage ready, I would except the design to better suit a garage setting, especially it should sit higher off the ground, preferably with wheels. I would love if it had wheels like our old Gladiator with large caster wheels and stops that work well for garage use. The only similar Gladiators I could find didn™™t have a freezer. They only come in either freezer or fridge. We will try to find some wheels to attach or set it on because it sits way too close to the floor for use in the garage. I like the black slate SS, and I like the glass shelves inside. I don™™t like the door shelves which are not deep enough and too wide to keep items from falling over with door use, even small items. I™™m not planning to keep gallons of milk in the garage. I do like the garage rating temps of 38*-110* and hope this fridge performs well in those temps, but haven™™t had it long enough to know.

This is a beautiful refrigerator. The freezer is so large, and got cold very fast. The shelves in the fridge are very sturdy, and spacious. Also, the vegetable bins are large, as well. I think it is great that I can fit a dozen eggs in the enclosed bin on the door. Plus, the deli bin moves from side to side which gives me options. Excellent, especially for the price.

I personally, like the looks of this refrigerator. As they stated the interior light of the refrigerator is bright. I just wish they had a light in the freezer section. The other thing I really like are the shelves in the refrigerator going from side to side, though I wish they had more of adjustments up or down. The controls for the freezer and refrigerator are easily accessible. Also GE makes a well made refrigerator, having gone through a couple other brands. We'll see this winter if it's as stated a "Garage Ready Refrigerator". Hopefully so.
