I've never had a big food processor, but this one is a game changer. It's got blades for everything. I shredded a block of cheese for some holiday food I was making and it was so much easier than using my small box grater. I sliced potatoes and got even/consistent slices which is what I needed for my recipe. Controls are very easy to use as well and I love the suction cups on the bottom that keep it secure while I'm using it. So happy with my purchase!

Good food processor but not the best

The controls are way too basic. When we try to make daugh, the food processor starts to make a loud noise which is a bit design and engineered flaws. Over all the food processor offers the same features as the other standards kitchen aid food processors do. This is our 1st month using this product. I hope to have a better experience from GE.

Love the design. The size of the base is perfect for our counter top it is not as wide as others I have seen. Weight is reasonable. Only used for making hummus, and it did a fair job. Had it on for approximately 5-10 minutes with no overheating of the appliance. Durability is fair, the plastic used for the bowl is not flimsy but the second bowl fell from 4ft and broke. Not expecting unbreakable, but didn't expect it would chip as it did. Came with multiple blades and attachments. For the price it is a pretty good purchase.

I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the grating blade doesn't entirely grate the ingredient. I cut zucchini to fit in feeder tube and pushed low speed. Love the speed of this product, boy was it FAST!! However, there were quite a few pieces of zucchini that somehow the grater missed so had to sift through, pick out and toss. Love the strong suction on bottom, doesn't budge on my countertop. I'd recommend this product and don't regret the purchase.

This works like a dream, with the caveat that the food chute plastic is a bit brittle. Be gentle shoving food into the unit. Customer service is wonderful, though, and they are replacing the part that cracked.

This processor is much quieter than my last one. However, when I use the shredding blades, the blades do no fit the opening and unshredded food falls into the shredded. I have to get it out. Sometimes a lot of unshredded food.

I have no idea how to rate the food processor as I have not received it. I just know that I ordered this item with a stackable washer and dryer, and I am notified one day before delivery that the order is backordered. I have a contractor on hold who has had to reallocate his time because of the late notice. There seems to have been plenty of time to notify me without making me wait until the last minute. It appears that GE is more interested in selling you more items as I get two or three emails a day trying to sell me more when they should have an interest in providing service to the items one has already ordered. I get a discount through the National Association of Realtors and I intend to inform that organization that they really are not doing their members a favor by partnering up with a shoddy operation like GE.
